MILITARY FAMILY HOUSING

Parsons is changing the face of military housing by replacing aging family housing estates and renewing military communities around the world. Parsons is bringing private sector residential design and construction quality to U.S. military troops around the globe. Recent recognition by the Air Force on several projects confirms that we are achieving that objective.

Replace Family Housing at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, is part of a 5-year program with the Seattle District Corps of Engineers, which is slated to deliver over 1,100 new family housing units. The project was recently honored with the prestigious Citation Award for Concept Design at the 2004 Air Force design awards banquet, and was recognized as the 2004 Honor Award for Best Family Housing Concept Design in the Air Combat Command (ACC). Replacement Family Housing project at Whiteman AFB, Missouri, is a 5-year family housing design-build program. Under this program, administered by the Kansas City District Corps of Engineers, we will build over 700 new homes.

We are also designing and building 334 new homes at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota; 220 new homes at Seymour Johnson AFB, North Carolina; and 279 renovated homes at Ft. McArthur, California. Other design-build projects include: a 190-room visitors quarters at Hickam AFB, Hawaii; visitors quarters and a temporary lodging facility at McGuire AFB, New Jersey; and a temporary lodging facility at Dover AFB, Delaware.

Quality housing for those who stand in defense of our nation will be a DoD priority for years. By incorporating award-winning design and construction approaches from private sector, residential building experience, we are delivering the quality homes and communities our military troops and their families truly deserve.
