Project Description
Parsons provided design and construction services to Kiewit for the construction of Internet Data Centers in major cities in the U.S. The design and construction of these facilities was schedule-driven with speed-to-market a key parameter. Parsons managed the construction of a 13,000 sf facility in Raleigh, NC and provided design services for the Relera Corporate Headquarters and Internet Data Center in San Diego, CA.
Parsons selects trade contractors through a competitive bidding process and provides overall superintendence for each site. Projects are fast-tracked to allow construction activities to get underway as soon as possible and to compress schedules. While major equipment items are being centrally procured, Parsons expedites the delivery and handling to meet schedule requirements.
