Parsons’ board has three female members: Jeanne M. Johns, former Head of Safety and Operational Risk for BP’s refining and marketing businesses as well as the functional Head of BP’s Operating Management System; Tamara L. Lundgren, President and Chief Executive Officer of Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc., one of the nation’s largest recyclers of scrap metal, a leading provider of used and recycled auto parts, and a manufacturer of finished steel products; and Major General Suzanne M. “Zan” Vautrinot, USAF (ret), who served as Commander, 24th Air Force and Air Forces Cyber, before retiring in October 2013.
2020 Women on Boards is a nonprofit grassroots campaign committed to increasing the percentage of women who serve on company boards to 20% or greater by the year 2020. This campaign educates corporate stakeholders on the importance of board diversity and promotes companies like Parsons as examples of good corporate governance.
