PASADENA, CA (May 31, 2016) – Parsons has been awarded a prime, multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract by the Naval Research Laboratory Information Technology Division (NRL-ITD). Under this 5-year, multimillion-dollar contract, Parsons will provide research and development and other engineering support to the NRL-ITD.

Parsons’ services will span seven research fields: communications, computing and data storage, information and artificial intelligence, man-machine interfaces, networking, operational information technology, and security. Work will be performed primarily at the NRL in Washington, DC.
This contract will expand on Parsons’ long history of developing mission-critical, next-generation technologies for the Department of Defense (DoD). The corporation’s current work for DoD research labs spans from cybersecurity tools and laser neutralization systems for the Army and Air Force to semantic technologies and advanced sensor development for the Navy.
