Parsons Corp. said it was selected to participate in the $7 billion light rail project being constructed in Austin, Texas.
The company said Monday it was part a team, which includes AECOM and CAS Consulting, that will provide program and project management, construction management, and technical expert services during all phases of the Austin Light Rail project.
Parsons will provide systems integration support, interface management, construction management, quality management and design management, among other services, it said.
The initial phase of the project includes the development of 9.8 miles of new light rail lines and 15 stations, Parsons said.
