Parsons’ Britt to Co-Chair 2016 Greenbuild International Conference & Expo

PASADENA, CA (February 3, 2016) – Parsons announced that Randy Britt, its Director of Sustainability, will co-chair Greenbuild 2016. Organized by the Los Angeles Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC-LA)—a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting a sustainable built environment through education, resources, recognition, and networking—Greenbuild is the world’s largest green building conference and expo. The 2016 event will be held from October 5–7 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Mr. Britt—a LEED-accredited professional—has been involved with USGBC-LA for 7 years, and he has more than 30 years of experience leading the development of sustainability programs and projects for buildings in educational, healthcare, and local government sectors, as well as renewable energy projects for utilities and energy markets. Since joining Parsons in 2010, he has been instrumental in furthering the corporation’s sustainability capacity and market development. Mr. Britt is the Chair of Parsons’ Sustainability Working Group, and he plays a key role in the publication of the corporation’s annual corporate social responsibility report. He was recently awarded the Construction Management Association of America’s Special Award for Sustainability, recognizing his efforts to raise the level of awareness of the need for sustainability in the construction management industry.
