Parsons to Jointly Present at the NYC Concrete Industry Board on February 11
PASADENA, CA (February 3, 2016) – Parsons’ Peter Elza, Service Life and Sustainability Manager, will join representatives from other industry firms on February 11, 2016, at the morning seminar (9 ‑ 11 a.m.) of the Concrete Industry Board of New York City to present various perspectives on achieving infrastructure concrete service life of 100+ years. The joint presentation will focus primarily on recent major bridge projects, including the Goethals Bridge Replacement Project. Casimir Bognacki, Chief of Materials Engineering for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, will moderate the seminar, which will be held at the New York Athletic Club.

In addition to his current work on the Goethals Bridge Replacement Project, Mr. Elza provides leadership on Parsons’ other major bridge projects such as the Gordie Howe International Bridge between Windsor, ON, and Detroit, MI, and the Southern Indiana Ohio River Bridges East End Crossing that connects the east end of Louisville, KY, near the city of Prospect to southern Indiana near Utica, IN.
