Parsons today announced Rena Barta as the new vice president, transportation infrastructure. In this role, Barta will lead Parsons’ Mobility Solutions business development team in New York City.
“Rena brings more than 25 years of experience in developing strategic alliances with organization leaders and clients,” said Anne Darnall, vice president and business development leader, infrastructure and mobility solutions for Parsons.
“Her high performing leadership and collaborative approach, along with her expertise in public sector municipal, state, transit, transportation and higher education markets, will help us deliver for our clients across markets, disciplines and delivery methods.”
Prior to joining Parsons, Barta served as the regional director of client services for a nationwide planning, design and construction firm, where she led business development for major projects in public sector transit, infrastructure and buildings.
Barta holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Touro College in New York City. She is also active in several industry organizations, including Professional Women in Construction (PWC), the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and New York Building Congress.
