Parsons Wins MDA TEAMS Ballistic Missile Defense System Engineering Contract
PASADENA, CA (April 11, 2017) – Parsons is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a 5‑year Technical, Engineering, Advisory, and Management Support (TEAMS) Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) engineering contract by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
“This new contract expands Parsons’ support of the MDA’s mission to defend the United States and its allies against missile threats,” stated Carey Smith, Parsons Group President. “We have provided technical, engineering, analysis, and modeling and simulation support to the MDA and its predecessors for nearly four decades.”
Under this advisory and assistance services contract, Parsons will provide expert systems engineering and integration services that will support the development of a highly integrated and effective BMDS capability to defend the United States, regional interests, allies, and deployed forces against ballistic missile threats of all ranges and in all phases of flight. Work will be performed in Huntsville, AL; the National Capital Region; and Colorado Springs, CO.
