PASADENA, CA (July 14, 2016) – Parsons has been awarded the Technical, Engineering, Advisory, and Management Support (TEAMS) Weapons and Missiles Systems Engineering contract by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Under this 5‑year contract (2 base years plus three 1‑year options), Parsons, as prime contractor, will provide systems engineering to support the development of MDA weapons systems.
The scope of this effort includes all phases of systems engineering support for six major weapons systems. The work will be conducted primarily in Huntsville, AL, and Dahlgren, VA, with smaller efforts in the National Capital Region; Colorado Springs, CO; and Salt Lake City, UT.
