Overview
CASO™ instruction, provided by Parsons Technical Operation Group, formerly known as Blackhorse Solutions Inc., provides comprehensive training focused on teaching the methodology of open-source research, enabling participants to master commercial best practices for understanding and leveraging publicly available information (PAI) through advanced, safe research techniques. This ten-day intensive course equips your team with the skills and tools necessary to navigate and exploit the evolving digital landscape, ensuring your organization maintains a competitive edge in information dominance. PAI exposes individuals or entities that may threaten your personnel, reputation, brand, assets, networks, or supply chains. Delivered online or in person, the course immerses participants in a secure digital research environment. Students conduct iterative assessments of their digital footprint while safely discovering, synthesizing, and analyzing PAI data. With a strong focus on open-source research methodology, this training ensures that actionable insights are reported effectively to leaders and stakeholders. Furthermore, instructors tailor the course content to meet the specific objectives and intent of each client, ensuring a personalized and mission-aligned learning experience.
Delivery
Our CASO course can be taken Online during a scheduled open enrollment session or can be taught by our Mobile Training Team (MTT) at your location or in person at one of our state-of-the-art classrooms located in Herndon, VA, or Fayetteville, NC. While open enrollment provides the best online live learning environment, Parsons has an array of unique Programs of Instruction (POI’s), we believe that in-person training whether its at our location or yours, offers our customers the most “Bang” for their buck. A contracted course tailored to your specific needs and mission requirements (Intel, IO, IBM, Targeting, Due Diligence, IDM, CI/HUMINT, Civil Reconnaissance) provides the most modularity and the customer direct input into their proposed training program they would like for us to create.

Parsons TOG has developed a unique, secure instructional platform utilizing US Government-approved encrypted solutions through Office 365 applications which are Tier C compliant. The CASO training platform integrates multi-factor authentication and advanced information assurance controls, adhering to industry best practices. With only a basic internet connection and a student computer, the platform enables seamless, high-impact training experiences while ensuring the highest levels of protection for all training sessions.
