Fraudulent Recruitment
Parsons is aware of recruitment scams where individuals misrepresenting themselves as Parsons’ agents or representatives have offered fraudulent employment opportunities with the intent to steal personal information and/or solicit money often through unsolicited emails, texts, or fake websites and social media accounts posing as a company. One of Parsons’ core values is integrity, and we want to help potential employees avoid these scams. Here are some guidelines:
- Any requests for personal information, such passport details, credit card information, and banking information are signs of fraud. Parsons will never ask a potential employee for money as a term of employment or to pay for application processing fees.
- Recruitment scams may involve offering fictitious job opportunities. All legitimate open positions can be found at https://jobs.parsons.com/. If a position is not advertised, it is not a legitimate opening.
- Legitimate Parsons email addresses will include @parsons.com or @parsons.us.
- The Federal Trade Commission provides additional information about job scams on its website: https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0243-job-scams.
- If you receive a fraudulent employment request, save the message and send it to your local law enforcement agency or you may also contact security@parsons.com.
We appreciate and value your interest in Parsons and encourage you to explore career opportunities with us.
