Design And Urban Planning, Program/Construction Management (PM/CM)

At the heart of the Lusail City Program, Seef is a seaside sanctuary built along the northern edge of the Lusail waterfront promenade. Two soaring skybridges connect the residential towers. These impressive steel structures feature infinity-edge swimming pools, landscaping, and spaces to gather and strengthen family and community connections.

Key Features Of The Seef Lusail Development

With an uninterrupted view of the sea, Seef provides a walkable lifestyle with easy access to shops and venues, to parks and beaches. In keeping with the natural beauty of its surroundings the development made use of many sustainable features and materials.

The impressive steel structures at Seef feature infinity-edge swimming pools, landscaping, and spaces to gather and strengthen family and community connections.

The area also boasts two skybridges between towers with swimming pools. Steel structure skybridges were designed and constructed between towers with prestigious landscape features. These include a large infinity swimming pool, a kids swimming pool and jacuzzi. All towers consist of premium retail, social areas, and amenities such as gym, steam room, squash court, kids play areas, and snack bars.

Lusail City extends across an area of 38 square kilometers. It includes four exclusive islands and 19 multi-purpose residential, mixed use, entertainment, and commercial districts. It is a comprehensive arena with leisure spots, residential buildings, commercial towers, avenues, and public marinas. Seef is also designed as a smart city with integrated information and communication technologies. The city is a meticulously planned urban development with state of the art modern and futuristic facilities for the community. It also boasts a well-organized public transportation system with light rail travel (LRT) and buses to ensure a well-balanced and sustainable future community.

Award Winning Seaside Development

Seef Lusail has won not one, but two awards for Development Project of the year. We delivered this mixed-use, smart city development along the northern edge of the Lusail Waterfront. It boasts over 600,000 meters of retail space, hotels, residences, along with entertainment, recreational and cultural spaces. It is a pedestrian-friendly environment where visitors and residents have easy access to shops and venues and green spaces, parks and beaches.

Sustainability In Action

The project was delivered with sustainability in mind. We achieved a 4-star Global Sustainability Assessment System rating by optimizing exposure to sunlight to reduce the need for artificial lighting. Many buildings were designed to make maximum use of natural ventilation through operable doors and windows. The building interior materials met minimum emissions targets for high air quality. In addition, many building elements were made from recycled materials. In addition to solar water heaters, the development featured a rainwater collection system and uses recycled water for irrigation.

Additional Sustainability Initiatives

Our commitment to sustainability is stronger than ever through the use of:

  • Indoor materials and finishes that meet minimum emissions targets to ensure the comfort and health of occupants.
  • Materials and products that have the lowest life cycle environmental impact and embodied energy.
  • Regionally manufactured and assembled building elements and materials in order to reduce the carbon footprint of the materials.
  • Rainwater collection system.
  • Recycled water for irrigation.
  • Pedestrian friendly environment, with easy access to shops, entertainment, green area, parks and beaches.
